Bernadette BJ Lark

Frances Tanner, a native of Bedford, VA, is a mother of 2 and grandmother of 8. After graduating from Liberty High, Tanner began working in childcare and education as a teaching assistant in Bedford Public Schools. She also worked with Bedford Social Services, providing childcare in her home.

Tanner later relocated to Roanoke, VA, where she became certified as a (CAD) Activities Director by the National Certification Council and a (CDP) Activities Professional by the National Council.

Tanner currently works as a Dementia Practitioner and is studying to complete her Human and Social Services degree. She loves enriching the lives of the elderly and youth and works to connect families in the community to programs that meet their ADA needs. She is a mentor and supervisor in the workplace and believes her purpose and gift is to help others in love, in any way that God allows.
